Product visualization with Augmented Reality - A new way to interact with your audience
As Augmented Reality (AR) enabled devices become readily available, consumers will soon have the option of virtually trying out any product (such as a piece of furniture) before they buy, in their own environment and to true scale. AR devices thus have the potential to significantly accelerate the sales conversion process. The demand for this capability will explode - but a few important questions remain. How, for example, can we make the functionality simple and affordable enough to deploy so that it doesn't remain the exception for a few privileged players? We will also discuss the larger question of how the concept can be extended in to other areas, such as industry.
Philippe has over 25 years of experience in the development & deployment of mobile solutions, with a strong emphasis on human-machine interfaces. Prior to joining Vidinoti Philippe worked in the area of speech recognition at Nuance, Orange, Wildfire and BBN in the US.
